Senior Facilities Engineer, semiconductor manufacturing
- Engineering owner for the gas systems that supply a wafer fab running around the clock.
- Wrote the department's training program from scratch, about 24 modules. I maintain it, deliver it and certify the people who complete it.
- Cut repeat production interruptions to near zero with a preventive replacement program aimed at the equipment where a failure costs the most.
- Lead a team of seven technicians, all trained by me.
- Proposed four new hires in 2026 and ran the interviews and selection.
AI systems, Return Authorship
- Built and run my own AI agent harness. Agents plan, build and review each other's work. Nothing is sent or published without my approval, and changes to the rules that govern the agents need my sign-off before they merge.
- My agents and I built the tools that cut and animate the Return Authorship videos. Episode one was edited entirely with them.
- Made a practice app for attention and choosing a direction, with no AI in it on purpose.
- Offer one fixed-scope AI workflow build for Hudson Valley trades and field-service businesses.
Design Lab Intern, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
- Designed and implemented simultaneous 3-axis PID control for the campus wind tunnel. I tested several input parsers and PID libraries, tuned them for the system and picked the best pair from test data.
- Designed control systems for an interactive demo and updated the lab's virtual machine network.
Chemistry Peer Mentor (I-Persist), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
- Mentored two sections of eight to twelve first-year Chemistry 1 students through the move from high school to RPI, covering chemistry, study skills and habits.
Undergraduate Research, additively manufactured parts
- Built and tested parts on a fused deposition modeler to study their residual strength, and examined fracture surfaces with electron microscopy.
- Mentored an incoming undergraduate researcher.
Education
B.S. Chemical Engineering, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Coursework included process dynamics and controls, chemical reactor design, separation processes, transport phenomena, thermodynamics and computational chemical engineering.
