I’m a chemical engineer. I build with AI, and I want to understand the work well enough to direct it.

Return Authorship is where I share those builds and what I learn from them. I keep coming back to a question: how can I judge work I don’t understand? Reading closely, asking questions and checking what comes back are part of the work.

I also made an app for attention and choosing a direction. I left AI out of it because I wanted a place to practice that without asking a model for the next instruction.

I also make music as Benjamin Lange, without AI. AI can carry my work; it has no place in the one thing that is pure human judgment. The music has its own home at benjaminlange.live.
